MmmMmMMendocino Farms. We go about every other week and our favorite is the Pork Belly Banh Mi.
They have a baby blue cow for their mascot that stands at the entrance to greet you.
I wonder if she has a name. She must! All I can think of is fraternity pranks and wonder if anyone has tried to steal her.
They have a good variety of yummy breads for their sandwiches. Each sandwich has a recommended bread, but you can always pick which one you want.
Their staff is always friendly and nice. You’re greeted the moment you walk in and as you continue walking down the counter, they say “Hi” and are willing to pose for photos. They always seem like they’re having a great time.
They have salads and soups too! You can get a small taste of one of their salads as you wait for them to prepare your order.
They have a Boylan soda fountain and a canteen for water.
I can’t remember what sandwich Stephen ordered, but it sure looked yummy and he definitely enjoyed it.
Pork belly banh mi sandwich. Our favorite! This is a must for us whenever we go. We usually order one pork belly banh mi sandwich and rotate the 2nd item and share.
I got the Sophisticated Chicken Salad that day. Loved it! It has prosciutto, roasted chicken, fresh mozzarella, roasted almonds, etc. and their basil pesto-balsamic vinaigrette is delicious!
Since it was nice out, we grabbed a table upstairs right in front of the Westin Bonaventure hotel – one of the coolest hotels in LA! It has a rotating lounge on the top floor. Go for sunset and watch the lights in the city turn on!
